Latina Respira Labs recauda US$2,8 millones para avanzar en atención a Covid-19

Respira Labs, an American startup founded by Dr. María Artunduaga, Colombian scientist, has raised over $2.8 million for the development of a device which will help patients with COPD, COVID-19, and asthma monitor their lung health. With this boost, the company seeks to develop clinical trials and expand its team. The funding represents a milestone for Latinxs companies in the US, and for the medtech industry, who is finding more solutions for respiratory patients. The prototype is expected to be authorized by the FDA in 24 months.
